Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day 1 Nairobi to Samburu

    Drive north past Mount Kenya to the arid Samburu reserve. Afternoon game drive for species found only in the north.

  2. Day 2 Samburu

    Morning and afternoon game drives along the Ewaso Nyiro river.

  3. Day 3 Samburu to Ol Pejeta

    Continue to Ol Pejeta Conservancy on the Laikipia plateau, known for its rhino conservation work.

  4. Day 4 Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru

    Morning in the conservancy, then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.

  5. Day 5 Lake Nakuru to the Maasai Mara

    Early game drive, then on to the Mara for an afternoon drive.

  6. Day 6 Maasai Mara
